Finished!

With the help of the wonderful tones of Seth Lakeman, I managed to finish the stag today, and I'm quite happy with it now.  I was doubtful it would come right as I just wasn't happy but not sure why,  after darkening the background and fiddling for a loooong time, I'm satisfied!  I love the antlers :D
A quick pastel sketch to finish off,
and a quick selfie of me and Piper.  This is how I'm supposed to get ready every morning!!!

Lovely to see you again, and "meet" Piper.

You've done a superb job on your stag - he is really very good, especially his antlers.

Dear Kimberley, you have a special gift for drawing animals - they are amazing! I have the feeling the deer is breathing! I like the way you've used the white colour!...
Oh, if THIS is a quick pastel sketch, how will then the finished portrait look like?:D

Happy Easter Holidays!:D
Here it's rainy and this will probably change our plans, but staying at home and having a rest is something we both needed with my husband. Besides, we are alone - without our birdie...
